Just purchased and installed a JAE custom stock for the M1A, Standard Loaded with SS barrel. I can cover 3 rounds with a nickel (that's under an inch) at 100yds with a Nikon 3X9 Prostaff and 168gr. BT federal match ammo. I wish the trigger was a little lighter but works well. For an out of the box semi it is a superb shooter and capable of reaching out. The JAE stock is a 100% improvement as I was getting about 1-1 1/2 with standard fiber GI stock. Very hardy rifle.
